Online Ministry Quiz
What’s Your Church’s Online Ministry Strategy?
Most churches are running a digital strategy they never actually chose. Thirteen statements, rated one to ten, and you’ll see which of four approaches your church is using right now.
These are statements, not agree or disagree questions. Think of the number as a percentage, so if you agree with 60% of a statement you pick 6. Answer for yourself first, then run it again with your key leaders and compare where you each landed.

Your answers add up to a score out of 130 that places your church on one of four levels.
- Simple Streaming Strategy (15–50). Digital is primarily a broadcast tool. The focus is streaming services with minimal interactive elements. A great starting point, and where many churches begin.
- Robust Online Strategy (51–100). You recognize the value of digital ministry beyond just streaming, and are likely exploring online groups, digital discipleship tools, and interactive elements.
- Online Ministry Microsite Strategy (101–119). A strong digital vision, ready to create dedicated online ministry experiences that go beyond your main website.
- Evangelistic Digital-Only Strategy (120–130). You see the internet as a mission field and believe in fully online church experiences, reaching people who may never walk through physical doors.
