The Digital Strategy Kit is still available at its regular price, and the next time I run something like this it goes to my email list first.

For pastors and church leaders

Do not hand your team another book recommendation. Put the whole staff on the same page instead.

The Digital Strategy Kit is the book, the audiobook, the planning tools, and a church AI policy your board can approve. One license covers your entire staff and every volunteer on your team. It is the framework I built over twelve years as the online pastor at Saddleback, packaged so a room can run it together. For seven days it is half off.

This is for you if any of these sound familiar

  • You stream every weekend and you honestly do not know what those numbers mean.
  • Someone on your team owns digital as their fifth job and it shows.
  • Your online people never show up in person, and you have stopped expecting them to.
  • Your staff and your volunteers are already using AI and your church has never written down a single rule about it.
  • Half your team read a different book about this and they are all arguing from different frameworks.
  • You are heading into planning season and digital is a blank line on the page.

The book does not argue about whether online church counts. It gives your team a shared way to decide what your church should actually do online, who it is for, who owns it, and how you know it is working. That is why it works better bought once for everybody than one copy at a time.

What church leaders said about it

Rick Warren

“I don’t know anyone else who has had more experience and understanding of the strengths and limitations of a local church digital ministry than Jay Kranda… Jay is truly the authority on this subject—just ask other churches and they’ll tell you. This book is essential to understanding the great capabilities, the inherent weaknesses, and the common mistakes churches make with digital ministry.”

Rick WarrenFounding Pastor and Chairman, Saddleback Church. Author, The Purpose Driven Life
Will Mancini

“Jay Kranda’s experience and insight combined with his love for the church is without compare. This is your go to guide for the digital future of the church.”

Will ManciniFounder of RunFree.co. Author, Future Church
Brady Shearer

“The first online pastor I met was Jay. That was before online church even existed for the rest of us. Ten years later and he’s still leading the charge.”

Fifteen chapters, fifteen questions your staff and volunteers are already arguing about

  1. Why should a church think digitally?
  2. Is someone who only watches online part of your church?
  3. Should digital transform or enhance your church?
  4. Who is your church's digital strategy actually for?
  5. Which digital approach is your church using?
  6. Who should own digital ministry at your church?
  7. What makes a digital presence feel like church?
  8. What makes an online small group actually work?
  9. Why won't anyone volunteer for digital?
  10. What should a church measure online?
  11. What should your church actually stream?
  12. Why don't online viewers ever show up in person?
  13. Can an online audience start in person churches?
  14. Should your church limit what it offers online?
  15. Will online church replace in person church?

Read three chapters. If it is not worth it, I will send your money back.

Read the first three chapters. If you do not walk away with at least one thing your team can change this season, reply to your receipt and I will refund you, no questions and no form to fill out. Keep the files either way. I would rather your church have them.

Jay Kranda · Innovative Tech Pastor, Saddleback Church

Who is writing this

I spent over twelve years as the online pastor at Saddleback, long enough that people started calling me the longest running one in the country. I watched this thing go from a novelty, to the only option we had, to whatever it is now.

In February 2025 I moved into a new role here as Innovative Tech Pastor. The Online Community is still under my leadership, and now our website, our apps, and our church management system are too. So the framework in this Kit is not something I read about. It is what I ran, and what I am still running.

Questions

How many people does the church license cover?

Your whole staff and your volunteers. I am not going to count them. Buy it once, download the files, and send them to your team however you normally send things to your team.

What do we actually get?

Four things. The full book as a PDF, the complete audiobook as MP3 files, the digital goal setting and planning guide with the team assessment, and the Church AI Policy Template.

How fast do we get it?

Immediately. Squarespace emails the download links as soon as the payment clears. Download the files and save them somewhere your team can reach, because the download link expires 24 hours after you first use it.

Is the AI policy usable, or is it a blog post in a PDF?

It is an editable document written to be adopted. Put your church's name in it, adjust what does not fit your context, and take it to whoever approves policy at your church.

Is the print book on sale too?

No. The paperback lives on Amazon at its normal price. This is the digital Kit only, which is why I can cut it in half.

What happens after the seven days?

The church license goes back to $76 and stays there. The price is real and it does not come down again next month.

Can we expense this?

Yes. You get a receipt, and most churches treat it as a staff development or resource line item.

Thirty seven dollars, your whole team, seven days

The book, the audiobook, the planning guide and assessment, and the AI policy template your church needed a year ago. Once, for everybody.
